Family Member's Interests
Clive - Not just a hill walker
I have been country and hill walking since the late 1970s (I was a late starter!); since I retired in 2004 I've been blessed with the energy and enthusiasm to continue.
The following pages reflect my interest in walking and sketching. As for my sketching, I don't claim to be an artist, I just like to try and capture a moment in time to remind me of my holidays and the walks that I do particularly in the Lake District and in Lincolnshire. It would be easier just to record the scenery with a digital camera but it would not be as rewarding for me.
I walk with members of my family as well as with fellow Christians from the Celebration Christian Fellowship Church based here in Grimsby and it is nice to have the younger children wanting to join in. More pages with sketches and photographs will be added as time goes by and I will try to improve my sketches!

| It is with deep regret that I to have to say that our dear brother Clive passed away on 1 Nov 2008 following a relatively short illness, to the end he was joking with his family, displayed real courage and was steadfast in his beliefs. A huge loss. David Tappin |
